While Santa Cruz has a varied existence when it comes to numbers and types of dwellings, each of the residential properties in Santa Cruz can be placed into one of three distinct categories. Those categories are high-, medium-, and low-density housing.
High Density Housing: This type of housing can be found rather regularly around Santa Cruz and it is a very good starter in terms of a residence. Many people start out with this type of housing early on in their lives and move down to medium or low density later on when their personal finances can afford such it. The best example of high density housing would be a condominium building, although for rent apartment buildings would also qualify as being high density.
Medium Density Housing: can be identified as anything that is a town house complex, a semi-detached house or any other type of dwelling that is based on the premise of including more than a single family occupancy. This sort of real estate is usually built in areas that are more upscale than their neighbouring communities, but areas at the same time where the median income value is not expected to be high enough for higher end low density housing units to be viable in construction. There are a number of these types of housing complexes around Santa Cruz, although arguably it is harder to find one for sale than either high density or low density housing.
Low Density Housing: this real estate is what most people hope to own some day, simply because the image of a house and a car has been the dominant one in American pop culture since the founding of the country. Even before the advent of the residential areas of the 19 th and 20th centuries, the farms that predated them were still forms of low density housing. For this reason, many areas of any city will be full of low density housing and Santa Cruz is no exception to that rule. There are low density housing areas all across the city and at any given time there are a number of different homes, mansions and bungalows on sale.
Whatever kind of housing you are looking to buy, Santa Cruz certainly has something to offer. This comes from good city planning, a great area and high demand for all types of residential dwellings.
