Can a business survive without advertising? This has been a frequent question that business & finance experts has been answering for ages. To give a short answer to this question, the answer would be a resounding NO. It doesn’t have to be the most expensive form but you definitely need to advertise one way or the other.

A business need not use all the avenues of media but they would have to choose at least one medium to make themselves known in the market. Even word of mouth is one very effective way of advertising. Business & finance experts clearly agree that utilizing at least one medium is essential for a business’ survival.  Although most businesses use at least two of three ways just to cover all bases.

Research your market so that you know which medium to use. It would be an exercise of futility to use the print media if only a minority of your target market read the papers. There are a lot avenues of getting your message across, there’s the TV, radio, newspapers, billboards, magazine, direct mail and even email marketing. Whatever strategy you use, business & finance experts are united in saying that what works best for your target market is what you should utilize to the maximum.
